The Georgia 4-H 2010 Gala will take place on Saturday, August 14, 2010 at the Renaissance-Waverly Hotel in Atlanta. The benefit will raise money for 4-H Project Achievement.
Join us to present Dr. M. K. “Curly” Cook, a major promoter of the 4-H Livestock program, with the 4-H Lifetime Achievement Award.
As honorary chair of the event, the Honorable David Ralston, Speaker of the Georgia House of Representatives, invites you to attend.
4-H Project Achievement helps youth develop skills in leadership, communication, time-management, and organization that will benefit them for the rest of their lives. Proceeds fund an endowment that allows district winners to attend state competition at no cost.
4-H friends, alumni, and sponsors will gather to celebrate 4-H beginning with cocktails at 6:30 pm. Casual entertainment will be provided by 4-H’ers as the silent auction takes place. You can browse and bid on items online before the event too! The evening will conclude with the presentation of the Lifetime Achievement Award and a live auction.
Don’t wait to sign up! You can quickly and easily purchase tickets online, or a printable form is available.
Sponsorships for the event are still needed and greatly appreciated. The Corporate Sponsorship Packet and Individual Sponsorship Packet are available. Payment may be made online, by check, or other special arrangements.
Items, experiences, and other donations are still needed for the silent and live auction.
