Welcome to our online auction! We are excited to extend you an invitation to participate in a very special event. Our small school, Ross Elementary, will hold its second annual silent auction on April 24, 2010. Our goal is to raise $20,000 which will be used in part to help turn our classrooms into comfortable and productive learning environments filled with age-appropriate furniture that promotes collaboration and creativity and additional resources.

This is a FREE event that is open to the entire Ross community including our neighborhood, family and friends. Bring as many people as you would like. Complimentary appetizers will be provided and drinks will be available for purchase.

Take a look at our online catalog where you will find a wide variety of exciting auction items. Then make a bid. Remember, all proceeds will directly benefit our organization, so don’t hold back!

Last year we raised nearly $13,000 towards the purchase of eight innovative SMARTBOARDS! This year we want to continue to enhance our learning environments in the classrooms by purchasing furniture, books, and materials that will build creative work spaces. Imagine a coffee house setting filled with sofas, tables, rugs, and books that enable students to learn in an setting where they have rich, meaningful discussions with peers, teachers, parents, and volunteers. It’s innovative, it’s inspiring, and it’s what will help set us apart from any other school in the city!

If you can’t make the night of the auction, no worries. Contact us with your highest bid and we’ll monitor the bids for you. If your absentee bid that night is the highest, you win!
